One part of the Snow Intelligence app

PlowWow is developing its online snow and ice pricing calculator as one part of the Snow Intelligence app it plans to roll out during 2026. The calculator is intended to support commercial sites, strata common areas and residential properties. Its purpose is to give customers a clearer preliminary budget conversation, with property scope, seasonal service and additional ice treatment explained before a reviewed quote.

A staged rollout this year

The calculator belongs to the wider PlowWow Snow Intelligence app rollout planned for this year. Features will be introduced in stages, with availability described as each part is released. This announcement identifies the pricing calculator as one component of that plan; it does not announce that the complete app or every planned feature is already available.

What would make the tool useful

The planned approach distinguishes a combined snow-and-salt allowance from additional salt-only treatment, while accounting for property layout, suitable equipment, route costs and winter readiness. Historical snowfall references are separated from actual service visits. Elevated routes need their own consideration rather than automatically using the nearest citywide lowland allowance. Exact scope and site conditions still require review.

The three property types are not interchangeable

For commercial sites, vehicle circulation, operating hours, loading access and storage space matter. Strata proposals need clear common-route boundaries, entrances, stairs, ramps and any separately requested individual-unit work. Residential work needs its own clearable-area and access assessment. These are development requirements, not a claim that all three categories already return validated automatic address estimates.

What is live today

Visitors can read PlowWow’s pricing guide and request a reviewed property quote now. The calculator is still in development, so it is not being presented as a live automatic quote for every address or as a guaranteed accuracy rate. A property review confirms the service boundaries, access, treatment and seasonal terms. An online enquiry does not reserve service capacity.

The next useful milestone

For the pricing component of Snow Intelligence, the next milestone is a public beta that produces a useful preliminary range from confirmed inputs, explains missing information and hands the customer into a reviewed quote. Calibration should compare equivalent property scopes and test independent predictions against verified references. The goal is clearer pricing for BC properties as the wider app rollout progresses during 2026.
