The update
KAGE announced an inline three-button controller for its wing plows on August 25, 2026. It replaces the earlier disc-style layout. The manufacturer describes a flexible body intended to fit different loader and tractor joystick shapes, with mounting grooves for ties.
Why it deserves attention
A purchasing conversation often starts with blade width. The control location belongs in that conversation too. Repeated adjustments during a long shift make reach, grip and clear identification of functions relevant to an operator’s acceptance of new equipment.
A useful demonstration
Sit in the actual carrier with winter gloves. Check access to original switches, visibility of labels and whether the additional control changes the natural grip. Ask the installer to demonstrate routing and strain relief, then check the manufacturer’s approved mounting and connection instructions.
Before ordering
Confirm the exact plow, hydraulic setup, controller part number and retrofit requirements. Do not assume a flexible mounting shape establishes electrical compatibility with every machine. We have reviewed the announcement, not independently tested the controller.
